We called in for lunch , it's an old coaching inn . The food was outstanding , very reasonably priced i thought . Beer garden at the rear with a cark park attached, wheel chair acces as well . We will return
We stopped Here on our way up the A1. 2 Sunday dinners and drinks for £45 the staff and customers were exceptionally friendly and the food was so much better than a trip to the services. Thoroughly recommend
went for a meal with my partner and was greeted by friendly staff. my girlfriend had the sunday roast which was beautifully presented and she said it tasted amazing . i had the fish and chips which also was beautifully presented and was lovely.The 2 girls that was on shift Grace and Maddie was very polite and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us they are a absolute credit to your business
Went for a spur of the moment meal with the family while staying locally. Communication was good. Was told straight away that there was a slight wait, and informed of a few dishes that they didnt have, which was nice. Was sat in a quiet room. And was checked in regularly while we waited for our food. Food itself was amazing. We had 3 x fish & Chips, Chicken & Chorizo pasta and a carbonara. Then the kids had Sticky Toffee Pudding and Chocolate Fudge Cake. A meal for 5 people with drinks came to just under £100 so great value!
I have traveled extensively throughout the UK, and I can easily state that I had THE BEST steak and ale pie here! It was delicious and had little bits of potato in it as well. The pie crust was perfect! Highly recommended stopping here for the pies!
We went here as a stop off point to have something to eat mid journey. We got there just as it opened. Staff were a bit shocked as there were a fair few of us but that didn't matter the service was fantastic food was lovely, I would highly recommend going here.
Visited the Red Hart Hotel to celebrate my sister’s birthday last month and just wanted to share how brilliant it was. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was remarkable. It’s nice to see a traditional pub like venue still do food. Absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t fault it. The staff were cheery, the drinks were fizzy, the food was tasty. 10 out of 10
